Description
Overview: Named after the Araguaia river in Brazil, this Hygrophila variety has a very distinct, low-growing, almost creeping growth habit. Its leaves are long and narrow, with a color that ranges from brownish-red to purple under good lighting. Because of its slow growth and horizontal spread, it is a perfect plant for the midground, often used to transition between foreground carpets and taller background stems.
