Overview: Also known as "Italian Val," V. spiralis is a classic, grass-like background plant. It produces long, thin, strap-like leaves that can grow to several feet in length. It spreads very quickly via runners and can soon form a dense "curtain" at the back of the tank. It is an extremely hardy plant and is perfect for beginners or for those keeping herbivorous fish.
