Description
Overview: Hygrophila difformis, commonly known as Water Wisteria, is famous for its heterophylly—its leaves change shape drastically based on environmental conditions. In the aquarium, it produces deeply pinnate, feathery bright green leaves. It is incredibly easy to grow and can quickly fill a large background area. It is also an effective plant for new aquariums to help compete with algae during the initial nitrogen cycle phase.
